About Fairview Empowerment Group

The people behind community power.

Fairview Empowerment Group is rooted in a simple belief: the people who know a community best should have meaningful ways to help shape its future.

Why FEG exists

Fairview holds generations of possibility.

Fairview is more than a place on a map. It is a neighborhood within Greenburgh shaped by people who have raised families here, built relationships here, shared their knowledge here, and invested their care in one another over generations. Its story lives in everyday acts of neighborliness as much as it lives in its institutions, programs, and public spaces.

FEG exists to help that community knowledge become visible and useful. We connect residents, partners, ideas, and resources so people can find a way into the work, whether they are seeking information, building a skill, sharing a story, supporting a program, or helping shape what comes next.

Our work is rooted in the belief that Fairview’s history, people, and possibilities belong at the center of Greenburgh’s future. By making room for participation and building durable partnerships, FEG helps turn shared care for this place into action that lasts.

FEG works across three connected pillars: HealTHY Communities, Education and Culture, and Financial Mobility. Together, they create a stronger foundation for families and neighbors today while helping Fairview and Greenburgh prepare for what comes next.

Vice Chairperson

Leslie Davis

Before moving into energy efficiency and sustainability, Leslie spent more than 20 years at ABC News. As a Production Executive, she oversaw national and international budgets exceeding $30 million and led logistics for remote broadcasts. Today, she is an Energy Manager implementing efficiency measures across more than 800 buildings in 10 New York counties, working with owners and communities to reduce their carbon footprint and support a sustainable future.

Leslie co-founded a neighborhood committee that builds social connection through block parties, new-neighbor welcomes, tag sales, and a signature Halloween Parade. She served as a member and Chairperson of the Town of Greenburgh Planning Board, petitioned for the Town’s first Sustainability Committee, and is proud to serve as one of its members.
